
About the Programme
The Muskaan Scholarship Program 2.0 (2025 - 26) is an initiative by Valvoline Cummins Private Ltd. (VCPL) to provide educational support to children of commercial drivers (LMV/HMV), mechanics and children belonging to the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) category, ensuring continuity in their education. This scholarship program aims to support students in Classes 9 to 12 from the southern, eastern, and northeastern states of India by providing them with a grant of up to INR 12,000 to cover their academic expenses.
Furthermore, the selected students will receive mentorship support to help them overcome challenges, set goals, and achieve academic excellence. This mentorship initiative aims to empower students by instilling confidence and self-belief.
Scholarship
Eligibility
- Students studying in Classes 9 to 12 are eligible for the scholarship.
- Students from the southern, eastern, and north-eastern states (Assam, Manipur, Nagaland, Mizoram, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Odisha, Bihar, Puducherry, Chhattisgarh, Kerala, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Meghalaya, Tamil Nadu, and West Bengal) of India are eligible to apply.
- The scholarship is open to students from the following backgrounds:
- Children of commercial drivers (LMV/HMV).
- Children of mechanics.
- Students belonging to the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) category.
- Applicants must have scored above 60% in their previous class to be eligible.
- The total family income from all sources should not exceed INR 8 lakh per annum. (Only applicable for EWS students)
- Children of employees of Valvoline Cummins Private Ltd. (VCPL) and its implementation partner organisations are not eligible.
Awards:
- Scholarship of up to INR 12,000 (based on actual expenses)
- Mentorship support (Session on Road Safety)
Note:
- The scholarship fund is solely for academic expenses, including tuition fees, books, uniform and stationery.
- Scholarship amounts may vary based on students' educational expenses.
- The scholarship will be disbursed annually to recipients.
- Valvoline Cummins Private Ltd. (VCPL) will decide whether to renew the scholarship for existing scholars for the next year, subject to the availability of funds.

- Income proof issued by Gram Panchayat/Ward Counselor/Sarpanch
- Income proof issued by SDM/DM/CO/Tehsildar
- Last three months’ salary slips or Income Tax Return (ITR)
- Bank account details of the applicant
- Photograph
Note:
In cases where the student or their family cannot pay the institute and provide fee receipts, they can submit a fee letter issued by the institute to receive the scholarship amount in advance. However, they must subsequently submit the final receipts through the online scholar tracking system.

- Now, click on the ‘Apply Now’ button, and you will be taken to the Buddy4Study website where you can fill out the application form.
- On Buddy4Study, you can read the scholarship eligibility and award details and then click on the ‘Apply Now’ button below.
- Log in to Buddy4Study with your registered ID and navigate to the ‘Application Form Page’.
- If you haven't registered yet, please sign up on Buddy4Study using your email, mobile number, or Gmail account.
- You will now be redirected to the ‘Muskaan Scholarship Program 2.0 (2025-26)’ application form page.
- Click on the ‘Start Application’ button to begin the application process.
- Fill in the required details in the online application form.
- Upload relevant documents
- Accept the ‘Terms and Conditions’ and click on ‘Preview’.

- Then the shortlisting process starts, which is based on eligibility criteria and socio-economic status.
- After that, the documents provided by the applicants will be checked, and telephonic interactions will be conducted.
- In the next step, panel interviews are conducted via Zoom and offline Muskaan Scholarship Program 2.0 camps.
- Final approval of candidates is given by the scholarship provider.
- Successful candidates are onboarded as scholars, and then the amount of scholarship is disbursed up to INR 12,000 based on the actuals they have submitted.

Will I get the scholarship in the subsequent year as well?
Yes, students can get this scholarship again next year if they meet the following eligibility criteria:
- They must provide proof of continuity and promotion to the next year of the course to Buddy4Study.
- Students should have achieved more than 60% in the previous class.
- Students will have to submit receipts for authorised education-related expenses incurred during the academic year.
Note: The renewal of the scholarship will be subject to the availability of funds with the scholarship provider.
